Desert Caballeros Western Museum

Desert Caballeros Western Museum is a museum in Wickenburg, Arizona. It was established in 1960. Its permanent collection of art includes an extensive collection of works by Joe Beeler and George Phippen. It also has a rotating collection of art that changes every few months. The museum also has a gift shop, guided tours, and special events.

Desert Caballeros Western Museum’s Youth Museum is for kids aged 9 to 11 years old and it delves into the history and culture of western America from the perspective of young people living in Wickenburg from the 1950s through the current day.

Outlaw Trail

If you enjoy history and strolling among the sites that constitute a town’s history, then this is a great option for you. You can see all of the historic sites around Wickenburg and have a fun time learning about the town as well as getting some exercise. The Outlaw Trail Walking Tour takes you to all of the historic places in Wickenburg, including many landmarks from old western movies.

Hassayampa River Preserve

The Hassayampa River Preserve is a great place to visit, as it has some of the most beautiful scenery in Wickenburg. It boasts lush vegetation as well as rare cacti that can only be found here. The preserve is a great place to take photos, and you will find many Instagrammers looking for the perfect selfie spot. There are also lots of wildlife in the preserve, including birds and other small animals. The preserve is a great place for a picnic or a photoshoot. You can also check out the bird-watching spots at the preserve; they’re located on top of hills and you can see all kinds of different birds flying around.

Old West Town

If you’re in the mood for a taste of the Old West, then you’ll love Wickenburg’s Old West Town. This recreation of a late 19th-century western town features gift shops, restaurants, saloons and candy, and an ice cream store.

Wickenburg once served as a stagecoach stop between Prescott and Phoenix, so the Wild West theme is especially fitting for this historic town. The Old West Town is located on U.S. 60 about 1 mile west of downtown Wickenburg.

Wickenburg Ranch Golf and Social Club

This 18-hole golf course is the one you’ve been waiting for. It’s a leisurely and beautiful course that’s a challenge to play, not because of its difficulty but because of its beauty. You’ll want to stop every few minutes to enjoy the gorgeous views and take pictures.

Besides the wonderful golf course, Wickenburg Ranch Golf and Social Club has an amazing restaurant, gym, fitness classes like yoga and spin, pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, banquet rooms for events or meetings and so much more!

The Wickenburg Public Library is located in the heart of historic downtown Wickenburg and offers a wide variety of resources for students and travelers alike. Aside from print books, audiobooks, and movies, the library also has a collection of historical documents unique to the area. The library also has free Wi-Fi access for patrons and offers comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing with a good book or getting some work done on your laptop.

The library even offers several programs for all ages including story time sessions for children, an after-school program called the “Reading Club” as well as family activities over school breaks, summer reading programs, and events for adults such as book clubs.

Wickenburg Community Center and Aquatic Center

The aquatic center offers families, kids, and adults a place to play. This is a great place to take the kids on a hot summer’s day. There are lap lanes for more serious swimmers as well as classes and swim lessons. There are also water slides, a water playground, and a splash pad area. The complex also includes basketball courts and a fitness center with weights, cardio equipment, group fitness classes, and more!
