French luxury fashion house Christian Louboutin has landed in Scottsdale

Christian Louboutin, the iconic French luxury fashion house founded in 1991, has opened its first Arizona boutique at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The Paris-based luxury fashion house is known for its iconic and high-end red-soled shoes. Scottsdale, Arizona.

The 2,334 square foot boutique is located at 15044 North Scottsdale Road. For those who have no idea why anyone would be so excited about this, here’s what you need to know: The fashion house was founded by its namesake after he discovered his love for shoes while working at a Parisian cabaret. His signature red sole was invented after a chance encounter with an assistant holding a bottle of red nail lacquer and has since become the iconic trademark of the brand.

The designs can now be found sold in more than 70 countries through 2,400 points of sale including stand-alone boutiques as well as department stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom.

Louboutin says he hopes to bring his personal touch to the new store by designing everything from furniture to the layout of the store itself.

The boutique will offer a range of women’s and men’s shoes, handbags, and small leather goods as well as makeup, complete with a nail bar where customers can choose from several exclusive nail color shades offered exclusively at Louboutin boutiques across the globe.
