Wine Country In Cottonwood

The Verde Valley is a hidden gem in Arizona. It’s a beautiful area that includes the towns of Cottonwood and Jerome, which are located about an hour from Sedona and about two hours north of Phoenix. If you’re looking for an adventure-packed weekend filled with great food, drinks, and scenery, then this is the place for you! Here are some of my favorite places to visit when exploring Cottonwood, AZ:

There are so many wineries to choose from when visiting Cottonwood, Arizona.

Wine Country In Cottonwood, Arizona

There are so many wineries to choose from when visiting Cottonwood, Arizona. The Verde Valley Wine Trail is a great way to experience the beauty of the area and experience the local culture. There are so many things to see and do in Cottonwood, but you can’t come all this way without visiting a winery or two!

Jerome Winery

The Jerome Winery is located in Jerome, Arizona. It is a family-owned winery and vineyard with two locations: the original tasting room and a large production facility. The tasting room is open daily from 11 am to 7 pm; it’s closed on Mondays during the winter months but always open during the summer vacation season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Tasting fees are $10 for members and non-members alike upon entry—the fee covers all of your tastings while you’re there! If you care to purchase some wine while at the winery, bottles range from $15-$40 depending on what kind of bottle size you want (mini, small, or full size) as well as whether it’s red or white wine. There are also wine club options available if you’d like an ongoing supply of delicious vino at home without having to make trips back out here every time!

If food is what brings you here, then we have great news: they have plenty! They serve pizzas made fresh daily using local ingredients sourced from nearby farms like eggs from free-range chickens raised by farmers within 25 miles radius from this location alone as well as other products such as cheese made specifically by our cheesemaker friend who lives just down the road called “Arizona Artisan Cheese Company.” You can even order sandwiches made with hand-crafted bread baked fresh daily inside our bakery located inside the same building complex where these activities take place, so everything tastes amazing together 🙂 It’s definitely worth stopping by either before or after visiting any other wineries nearby if nothing else than for lunch since there aren’t many places around town where eating lunch costs less than $20 per person, including drinks too 🙂
