Type of food and atmosphere: I would describe the type of food as eclectic Mexican; there are certainly traditional flavors and dishes that you would expect to find, but there is also a lot of variety in terms of flavor profiles and ingredients. The atmosphere is very casual and laid back; it’s definitely a place where you can go in jeans or shorts and not feel out of place!
What to order: I would recommend the falafel tacos, Ahi tuna nachos, beer-battered avocado tacos, adobo chicken quesadilla and elotes (Mexican street corn). For drinks, I would recommend any of their signature margaritas. If you enjoy tequila, they have an extensive selection that you can try on their own or in your margarita!
RnR Gastropub is one of the few venues that can be called a Scottsdale institution. It doesn’t matter if you’re a resident or just visiting, RnR Gastropub deserves at least one visit during your stay—and it won’t take more than one visit to decide that it may well become your go-to spot in Old Town.
